Celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day with meaningful literature.

In celebration of Indigenous Peoples' Day, the Kern County Library in Bakersfield, California, is highlighting a selection of books that feature Indigenous voices, stories, and cultures.

The library showcases the following titles:

- "Braiding Sweetgrass" by Robin Wall Kimmerer

- "Living Resistance" by Kaitlin B. Curtice

- "Bad Indians" by Deborah A. Miranda

- "Becoming Kin"

- "As Long As Grass Grows" by Dina Gillo-Whitaker

- "We Are the Middle of Forever: Indigenous Voices from Turtle Island on Changing Earth"

- "Never Whistle at Night: An Indigenous Dark Fiction Anthology"
