Bakersfield Residents Invited to Share Ideas!

The City of Bakersfield is inviting residents to participate in a community meeting series to contribute ideas on how to allocate $25 million over the next five years for community needs. This funding is part of the “Consolidated Plan,” which is updated every five years to identify local priorities.

Three meetings are scheduled to gather public input:

1. **Online Zoom Meeting**

Date: Tuesday, October 22

Time: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

2. **Baker Street Community Room**

Address: 1105 Baker Street

Date: Tuesday, October 22

Time: 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

3. **Bakersfield Senior Center**

Address: 503 4th Street

Date: Wednesday, October 23

Time: 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Residents can also share their thoughts through an online survey found at [this link](https://forms.gle/xQNXLFspGUsURtzV6).

For those needing disability-related accommodations or interpretation services, requests can be made by emailing edcd@bakersfieldcity.us at least five business days prior to the event.

The City encourages all community members to participate in transforming Bakersfield through their valuable insights.
